Breakfast versions are not lunch items
Listings such as the McChicken® Biscuit, Hot 'N Spicy McChicken® McGriddles® and Chicken McMuffin® belong to the breakfast menu and are covered on the McChicken page. Whether a restaurant serves them after the breakfast cutover is a local decision.
Lunch start times vary

Delivery menus show local items
DoorDash menus come from individual restaurants, so the sample includes listings seen at only a few locations: Denali Mac, McTeri® Deluxe, Green Chile Double Cheese, Spam® Rice & Egg and team-branded packs. We flag these as regional and keep them out of the ranges above.
Duplicate and odd listings
Some items appear under two names or at unexpected prices. One example is a separate '40 Piece Spicy Chicken McNuggets®' listing at $22.40 alongside the 40 pc. Spicy at $18.26. These are explained on the McNuggets page instead of being averaged together.

What is the cheapest lunch entrée in the data?
The Hamburger, at an average of $3.04 across sampled DoorDash delivery menus (Aug 19–Sep 29, 2026). The cheapest nugget listing, the 4 pc. Spicy Chicken McNuggets® at $3.59, is the next lowest. Your restaurant's in-store price may be lower or higher.
How much more is a meal than the sandwich?
For a Medium meal, between +$3.60 (McDouble®) and +$5.15 (McChicken®) among the entrées we calculated. A Big Mac® Medium meal averaged $4.32 more than the sandwich. See the premium table.
Are these the prices I will pay at the counter?

When does McDonald's start serving lunch?
