What each size step costs
The regular Iced Coffee is the cleanest series in the data: all three sizes are listed, and the flavored versions track it almost exactly.

Why black iced coffee shows a higher average
Iced Coffee Black, with no liquid sugar or cream, averaged more than the sweetened version at small and medium. That is a feature of the sample, not evidence that removing ingredients raises the price.
The gap narrows from 33 cents to 1 cent as the size goes up.
Each average covers only the locations that listed that exact item. “Iced Coffee Black” appears as its own DoorDash listing at some restaurants, while others sell the same drink by customizing the regular Iced Coffee. If the restaurants with a separate black listing charge more overall, the black average rises without any restaurant pricing black above sweetened.

Sugar-free vanilla: two listings, two averages
The dataset holds two names for what is likely the same drink: “Iced Sugar Free Vanilla Coffee” and “Sugar-Free Vanilla Iced Coffee.” We keep them separate because they were averaged from different listings.
The first listing sits 4 cents above regular vanilla at medium; the second listing's large is 69 cents above regular vanilla's $3.81.
Neither listing includes a small size, so the small price is shown as not verified. We have not confirmed whether the two names are one product. The $4.50 large in the second listing is an outlier against every other large iced coffee ($3.81–$3.83) and may reflect very few locations.
Seasonal iced coffee flavors
Two flavors in the sample appear to be fall offerings. We record that they were listed; we have not verified official start or end dates.
Iced Pumpkin Coffee
Averaged $2.39 small, $2.54 medium and $3.19 large, below the regular Iced Coffee at every size. Medium is $0.71 less than regular ($3.25 − $2.54). A small set of locations, or promotional listing prices, could explain the low average.
Caramel Apple Pie Iced Coffee
Averaged $3.60 small, $4.08 medium and $4.64 large. Medium is $0.83 above regular ($4.08 − $3.25). The same flavor also appears as a frappé and lattes on the McCafé coffee menu.
